The purpose of this strategic business plan is to guide the development and management of the South Australian Canine Association (SACA), trading as Dogs SA, over the next five years to 2015. The benefits of having a clear strategic direction for the Association as well as an action based business plan will assist in ensuring that the Association will be able to further develop and ultimately achieve its Vision.

In developing this plan consultation was undertaken with key stakeholders including;

 Interview with Dogs SA staff

 Business Plan Workshop with Dogs SA Council Members, held at SACA Park Boardroom at Kilburn

Relevant literature and reports including the SACA Constitution, SACA Rules and Annual Financial Statements and Reports were reviewed and a summary of the key findings are detailed in section 3.
