Off Leash Areas
The Dog Control Act 2000 provides for a council to set aside areas for the exercising of dogs, subject to any specified conditions. The following are Council declared dog exercise areas in the Meander Valley.
- Deloraine - Alveston Drive (near community complex)
- Westbury - Town Common
- Hadspen - river bank near Lions Park
- Blackstone Heights - Pitcher Parade
